Rick Kolb

Rick can’t remember a time when he didn’t love art. Kolb’s grandmother was a child of the depression. For this reason, she hoarded paper and string of any kind. She also subscribed to National Geographic Magazine. When Rick would grow restless, as little boys do, his grandmother would get out the paper, string, and magazines, and Rick would get to work. Rick loves color and texture and has been creating ever since.

 

Rick lives in Cheboygan with his wife, Jeannie. 

 

Rick’s passion lies in oil paint, drawing and print making, and quite frankly, we love it all. What Van Gogh was to Provence, Rick Kolb is to Cheboygan. Our own happy Van Gogh.
